Was just looking through some pictures on NetCarShow and happened to come across this. It's a 2003 Nissan Skyline, JDM Infiniti G35 basically. Does anyone happen to know what the controller and thing on the steering wheel do?

I am wondering if it is a handicap accessibility option. The only reason I am suggesting it is because it has the same type feel to it as the gentleman that wrote this article yesterday.

Good point. I tried to think of what else it would be, especially since its on an "official" photo.

Back in the 50's and 60's they were called "Nicker Knobs" (the steering wheel thing) They used them because power steering was not as prevalent then.
